Product Overview
BOSS Bottled Sport is an aromatic eau de toilette for men, launched in spring 2012 as the sporty edition of the 1998 classic BOSS Bottled. It was created by Calice Becker, and the campaign face was Formula 1 driver Jenson Button — the fragrance's whole pitch was competitive spirit, freshness and clean energy.
The opening is the highlight most wearers remember: grapefruit — notably sweet and invigorating rather than sour — sharpened by yuzu zest, pink pepper and aldehydes for a crisp, high-tech citrus lift. The heart is aromatic and spicy with lavender and cardamom (some note lists add geranium), and the base is a dry masculine blend of vetiver, tonka bean, patchouli and woodsy-leathery accords. It's a bright, simple, linear sport scent — reviewers consistently call it a gym/daytime fragrance with roughly 3–5 hours on skin and noticeably longer on clothes, and several note it carries almost no DNA from the original BOSS Bottled — this is its own fresh citrus thing.
